First Coil: Decomecc starts slitting operation on new GEORG slitting line

Last year we reported on the investment decision of our long-time customer Decomecc NV from Genk/Belgium in a slitting line from GEORG, which was to be designed for the specific needs of the automotive industry. Now the Belgian company successfully announces the first strip cuts.

With the state-of-the-art GEORG precisionslit 2350, Decomecc enters the aluminum strip market with a high thickness range from 0.8 to 7.0 mm and can thus serve its customers and their end users not only in the sheet business, but also slit coils in any desired strip width, coil length or coil weight. Furthermore, the line has been equipped with an electrostatic lubrication device. Dry lube for automotive application can be applied on the strip surface. Naturally, the oil amount will be measured and monitored online.

We are very pleased that we were able to realize this order in the shortest possible time and successfully commission the line.

Successful commission of TBA400 at Lemi

TBA400 with high-speed configuration at our long-standing customer Lemi Trafo JSC.

Together with one slitting line which was put into operation a few weeks ago, the new TBA400 expands Lemi's machine park and supports their growth strategy.

The benefits of pin stacker technology for the distribution transformer production can also be gained from a Transformer Magazine article 'Demand driven core production' we published recently.

Finally, a special congratulations to our technicians and also to our customer’s employees for carrying out the commissioning in record time.
