Greek Aluminum Producer ElvalHacor extends Partnership with GEORG
Elval, one of the world leading producers of flat rolled aluminum has been investing since 2018 in the expansion of its production capacities for high quality aluminum flat products. Within this project GEORG could already supply a slitting line and a roll grinder in 2019 and 2020.
Now again Elval has underlined its trust in GEORG by placing another order for a roll grinding machine type GEORG ultragrind with the German machine builder and process optimizer.
This subsequent order was already placed prior to the final acceptance of the first delivered machine after having demonstrated its performance capacities by grinding a number of work rolls for the new aluminum rolling mill supplied by SMS group.
The new GEORG roll grinder is designed for high precision machining and quality analysis of work rolls out of the aluminum cold rolling sector. In addition the machine is equipped with the GEORG smartcontrol – one of the world leading control systems.
With the proven trust in the products and employees of GEORG the existing partnership between the Athens and Kreuztal based companies will be further expanded and strengthened.
IGUS trade press day at GEORG
To ensure the high quality of our machines, we manufacture in our in-house mechanical production facilities in Kreuztal, Germany, and Roanoke, USA.

ATLAS TRAFO is scaling up and GEORG is part of it
To cut transformer cores in their new and impressive facility in Kemalpaşa near Izmir, Türkiye, ATLAS TRAFO has chosen our proven GEORG precisioncut TBA400 ecoline. Thanks to its compact design and intuitive operation, our new customer will be able to set up the machine independently after a two-week training session at our headquarter in Kreuztal.

GEORG ultragrind SG 2 for Marcegaglia
Marcagaglia Ravenna S.p.a. has purchased for its cold rolling mill a roll grinder type GEORG ultragrind SG 2 in foundation free GEORG ultrablock version. Since 2017, when the first ultrablock machine was sold, a total of around 10 machines of this design have been sold.
