GEORG supplies an additional roll shop for BAOWU Group
The successful and constant partnership between the Chinese BAOWU Group and Heinrich Georg GmbH was strengthened by another major order.
GEORG was again able to prevail over all market competitors due to the very positive experience with the last project in Zhanjiang.
Here, GEORG mainly convinced BAOWU with the excellent quality of the machines, a high availability and an excellent service offer. An experienced team also supports the customer on site. From consulting, application technology and service to comprehensive training, the interaction of high-tech and personal on-site service is rounded off.
BAOWU commissioned GEORG to equip a complete cold rolling mill roll shop with GEORG ultragrind grinding machines. The scope of supply includes three work roll grinding machines of the type GEORG ultragrind SG-2 and a combi machine for back-up and work rolls of the type GEORG ultragrind 25.
All machines are assembled in a fully automatic zone. The machines are operated from a central operator room. Once set up, only two operators are needed to carry out all the necessary work in the automatic zone for regrinding the rolls.
Of course, the machines are equipped with the GEORG smartcontrol. For several years now, we have been setting standards here in terms of user-friendly and effective operation of roll grinding machines.
With our highly efficient roll shop technology, GEORG is on a very good way to grow further in this segment and to gain market share step by step.

To cut transformer cores in their new and impressive facility in Kemalpaşa near Izmir, Türkiye, ATLAS TRAFO has chosen our proven GEORG precisioncut TBA400 ecoline. Thanks to its compact design and intuitive operation, our new customer will be able to set up the machine independently after a two-week training session at our headquarter in Kreuztal.
