Volunteer fieldwork in Tunisia
"Hello, my name is Saussen.
Alongside my studies at the University of Siegen, I have been supporting the HR team at GEORG as a working student since last year.
Since the beginning of 2024, I have been a volunteer member of the aid organization Asiyah - Gemeinsam Aktiv e. V. There I am involved in regional projects, for example in the refugee home, and have now also been allowed to take over the country management for the project country Tunisia.
Thanks to my flexible employer, I was able to travel to the North African country for two weeks in March as a volunteer field worker. There, I distributed food parcels to people with little or no income. The elderly, the sick, the blind, orphans, single parents and people with disabilities living in remote places in the interior of the country received help in the form of a food parcel.
We are lucky to have a good life. We should make use of this good fortune by helping other people who are less fortunate, either regionally or internationally. Onboarding our new colleague
This month we welcome Tim Ole Kühn to our team. Tim brings valuable experience as an industrial mechanic and will enrich our team with his expertise. Especially in times of high capacity utilization, we are happy to have competent new colleagues on board.

Farewell to Christian Rösler
What a story: Christian started his apprenticeship with us on 01.09.1976 and has worked in our mechanical production department ever since. After almost 49 years, he is now going into well-deserved retirement. 49 years of loyalty to GEORG. It doesn't take more than these five words to understand why our company is one of Germany's most popular employers in the mechanical engineering sector.

380 years came together in the last few weeks with the round birthdays of our five retirees. Thank you for accepting our invitation to a wonderful afternoon with coffee and cake.

Retirement of Clive Beese
After 19 years as Sales Director at our UK location, we are saying goodbye to Clive Beese as he takes his well-deserved retirement. Clive, we thank you for your trust and the many successes we have shared. You have not only enriched our team, but also left a lasting impression.
