Under this partnership which started already in 2017 the German world market leader for the transformer industry, GEORG, has been cooperating with Güdel. Güdel Group AG with headquarter in Switzerland is a manufacturer of high precision machinery components and intelligent automation solutions.
Both innovative and in third generation family run companies combine their know-how. GEORG brings in its knowledge and experience gained in more than 1.000 projects of transformer lines. Güdel brightens with intelligent technologies in industrial automation. What both companies have in common is their solid base as independent family companies with absolute customer orientation.

IGUS trade press day at GEORG
To ensure the high quality of our machines, we manufacture in our in-house mechanical production facilities in Kreuztal, Germany, and Roanoke, USA.
We apply the same high-quality standards to our suppliers — for example, to the energy chains from igus GmbH. Last week, igus visited our headquarters in Kreuztal as part of a trade press workshop attended by many journalists. The industry experts had the opportunity to gain an in-depth impression of our coil processing lines, roll grinding machines, and lean production. We are very grateful to have igus as a reliable partner providing top-quality products by our side.
ATLAS TRAFO is scaling up and GEORG is part of it
To cut transformer cores in their new and impressive facility in Kemalpaşa near Izmir, Türkiye, ATLAS TRAFO has chosen our proven GEORG precisioncut TBA400 ecoline. Thanks to its compact design and intuitive operation, our new customer will be able to set up the machine independently after a two-week training session at our headquarter in Kreuztal.
