GEORG: "It's time to take a stand!"
The current demonstrations against the rise of right-wing extremism in Germany are also affecting the local economy. It has been clear for a long time that this is not only a democratic threat, but also an economic one. GEORG in Kreuztal has decided that we need to take a stand right now.
The recent order from Baosteel Wuhan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. comprises three GEORG ultragrind SG-2 grinding machines for work rolls and one GEORG ultragrind 25 machine capable of processing both back-up and work rolls.
All four machines will operate within the automatic zone of the roll shop where all logistical and machining processes are performed without any manual intervention. The machines will be integrated into the existing roll shop management system and centrally operated from a common control room. Therefore, GEORG will equip the grinders with GEORG smartcontrol, a machine control system that ensures smooth integration into fully automatic operating environments. The GEORG machines for the Zhanjiang works were also supplied complete with GEORG smartcontrol and have proved highly productive and efficient in operation. With its user-friendly HMI, the system forms an efficient link between the machines and the operators. Additionally, innovative measuring and inspection systems guarantee optimal quality of the reconditioned rolls.

Our gift for the 30th anniversary of the company SBG Neumark
On September 7, we were able to congratulate our customer SGB on "Innovation Day" for 30 years of production at the Neumark site. In addition, we wish Mr. Andreas Unterweger, who took over the position of CEO in September, many more successful years as the CEO.
GEORG - New paint shop
We are also constantly investing in our own infrastructure. Currently, our new paint shop is being built and will soon be put into operation. We are looking forward to it.
