One of the most valued Employers SME 2018 and 2019
Again GEORG has been ranked among the Top employers of Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
This is the result of the study 2018 carried out for the first time by Focus-Business in cooperation with kununu.com, the employer evaluation platform for employees, apprentices and applicants. Herein GEORG was listed among the most valued employers in the German speaking countries and was ranked number3 among the plant and machine manufacturers within the DACH area.
In the recently published study 2019 of Focus-Business (volume 4/2018) where 750.00 companies in Germany were evaluated GEORG was ranked number 5 among the most estimated SME machine and plant manufacturers.
For the Kreuztal company this top-ranking means again a proof that an open and employee-oriented company culture pays well-off. Focus established its actual career map based on the study “TOP Career Chances” and the evaluation of social reports about the companies. Mark Georg, CEO and responsible for the 3rd generation company, is happy:” This award encourages us that the chosen way of active employee and effort encouragement is the right one. We are pleased to announce another "newcomer": Stefan Buch will "inherit" our long-standing Head of Purchasing, who will be taking his well-deserved retirement this year. Vera Moser is joining our HR team and will support with new energy

BA degree R. Pankratz (dual student)
Young talent made by GEORG: We are delighted with our dual student Reinmar Pankratz, who has achieved a great Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. Hats off, not only for the great grades, but also for the practically relevant results of his bachelor's thesis. We can implement these directly in the machine development of our transformer lines.
We congratulate you on your excellent degree and are delighted that we will be able to actively support you during your Master's degree.
More room for growth
We are very grateful for the trust of our global customers from all product areas, who have given us significant growth, particularly in recent years. That is why we are continuing to invest in the future - not only in terms of technology and man power, but also in our own infrastructure, particularly in Germany and North America.
For example, we are currently building a new additional assembly hall in our new Plant 3 at our Headquarters in Kreuztal/Germany, and we are doing so in record time. We will celebrate the topping-out ceremony there in June and assemble the first units and machines for our customer orders there in the summer.

Congratulations to Simon Weber (DS Mechanical Engineering) 2024
As one of the most attractive employers in our industry, we consistently produce high potentials. Simon Weber, for example, who has now successfully completed his mechanical engineering degree. Simon worked in our Roll Grinding product area alongside his studies and also wrote his bachelor's thesis there. His technical research is very valuable to us, so we will be implementing it.

Technology lessons
For almost a year now, the GEORG training workshop has regularly been transformed into a classroom in which the technology course at Kreuztal secondary school works together with GEORG trainees for a day of practical tasks. This allows the pupils to get out of their everyday school routine and get a taste of technical professions.
