Product Safety Expert (m/f/d)

Your tasks

In this role, you will support our departments in all matters related to product safety and the implementation of legal requirements for our machines and systems.

• Advising development, design, and project teams on legal requirements, standards, and guidelines
• Conducting and facilitating risk assessments for machinery and equipment
• Contributing to safety concepts, validations, and technical documentation
• Planning and conducting training sessions on product safety and relevant legal requirements
• Serving as the point of contact for internal departments on all matters related to product safety

Your profile

You combine technical expertise with a structured and communicative approach to work. You bring

• Technical training with further education or a college degree, e.g., in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or safety engineering
• In-depth knowledge of product safety, CE marking, and relevant standards
• Experience in conducting or supporting risk assessments
• Ideally, knowledge of international regulations (e.g., North America with OHSAS, CSA, ANSI) as well as practical experience with Safexpert
• Ability to work in a team, a sense of responsibility, and a passion for product safety
