Contract signed between Baosteel NSC (China) and GEORG machine tool division

In March 2014 Shanghai Baosteel NSC Automotive placed order for its new roll grinder for cold rolling mill No. 4 with GEORG machine tool division. This rolling mill produces precision steel sheets for premium car manufacturers. The high demands on the final product also reflect in highest requirements of the roll grinder.

GEORG LISMAR could convince the customer with the technical advantages of its GEORG ultragrind 700 R model and hereby successfully  enter the Asian steel market.

Since 1st March 2014 GEORG business divisions machine tool and finishing lines will be supported and represented by IPS Systemtechnik, Karlovac, in  Southeast Europe.

We are proud that we could tie-up with Mr. Ivan Ivicak, an experienced specialist for our customers in Bosnia-Herzogowina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia, Kosovo (former Jugoslawia) and Albania.

AREVA NP in St. Marcel: GEORG Multi spindle Drilling Machine finally accepted

On 08th January 2013 inauguration of the Multi spindle Drilling Machine delivered by Heinrich GEORG to AREVA NP’s St. Marcel (France) works took place. A delegation of GEORG machine tools division also attended the ceremony. Mr. Samuel Martineau, project manager at AREVA, reviewed the history of the project: Whereas at the beginning there was the idea of simply revamping the existing machine on which AREVA was already facing difficulties with drilling of tube plates, it relatively quick became clear that the investment in new equipment was necessary.
