Software Engineer (m/f/d) Automation

We are looking for a Software Engineer (m/f/d) Automation Technology for our Levellers/ Finishing Lines division with the following main tasks and requirements as soon as possible:

Your tasks

As an expert - or young talent - for machine automation, you will further develop the automation technology of the core units of our Finishing Lines with a focus on levelling technology. You will ensure optimum project results.

• Analysis and evaluation of our customers' production parameters (field data analysis)
• Derivation of optimization potential and development priorities for our units 
• Expansion of the digitalization of individual GEORG core units
• Programming and commissioning of straightening technology in the factory and at the customer's site
• Processing service orders remotely and on site at the customer's premises
• Interface to the subsidiary GEORG Automation GmbH

Your profile

You are the creative and at the same time structured mind with an eye for satisfied customers and our divisional goals. We are open to both experienced professionals and young talents.

• Completed engineering studies in the field of electrical engineering, specializing in automation technology
• Good knowledge of PLC programming (TIA Portal, Symatic Manager systems) and drive systems (Siemens Sinamics, encoders, etc.)
• High-level language skills (C, Python, ...) an advantage
• First relevant professional experience, preferably in high-end mechanical engineering, desirable
• Very good technical understanding and high analytical ability to solve complex tasks
• Independent, structured, reliable and detail-oriented way of working
