Design Engineer (m/f/d) Transformer Lines

As part of the succession plan for our Transformer Systems division, we are looking for a Design Engineer (m/f/d) for Design & Development with the following main tasks and requirements:

Yout tasks

You will ensure the creative and at the same time cost-effective realization of projects in the field of transformer systems and thus create the constructive basis for a high level of economic efficiency along our value chain. 

• Development, design and technical support of customer-related orders, aggregates
• Development of design solutions for transformer systems within the framework of specified concepts
• Development and evaluation of draft solutions, taking into account functional, material, production and economic aspects
• Creation of unit, assembly and component drawings and management of parts lists
• Independent execution of calculations and investigations

Your profile

You are the creative and at the same time structured mind with an eye for satisfied customers and our divisional goals.

• Degree in mechanical engineering or technician with relevant professional experience, ideally with a focus on design engineering
• Practical experience in the design of complex, technologically sophisticated systems and special solutions
• Knowledge and ideally experience in modularization/standardization in mechanical engineering
• Very good CAD knowledge of 2D and 3D design and calculation methods, ideally Autodesk products
• Good knowledge of modern manufacturing processes as well as automation and fluid technology
