Leading in efficiency: The new TBA400 ecoline

GEORG transformer division enables economic transformer production on highest level world wide

At the occasion of CWIEME 2011 exhibition GEORG presented its new developed TBA400 ecoline as a highly demanded show highlight. One of these new high-efficient transformer lamination cut-to-length lines has been shipped to Thailand recently and will shortly start supporting the modernization of the country’s electricity network.

Especially in fast developing countries in Asia, e.g. India or China, Africa and South-America the growing demand for comprehensive energy supply can be felt everywhere. For transformer manufacturer’s in these countries the TBA400 ecoline represents a top modern and reliable transformer lamination cutting line at very reasonable total costs ensuring a fast return on invest-ment. This goal could be achieved by consequent standardization of machine configurations and manufacture under optimum work flow processes. GEORG has decided to fully transfer these savings of approx. 35% compared to a standard TBA400 line to its customers thus facilitating their step into economic and automized transformer production.

The line is equipped with a double head decoiler, a hole punch and a V-notch. Furthermore 2 fixed shears and optionally 2 different basic sheet stopping systems (RS/T or HS/T).  The TBA400 ecoline is designed for sheet widths between 40 to 440 mm and impresses by simple functionality and precision. A further advantage: There is no need for a special foundation or a loop pit!
