Successful FAT at MCB
MCB Group (Link) and GEORG combine the highest standards of automation, cost-effectiveness and partnership. We are very pleased that the site acceptance test at our customer MCB in Valkenswaard was successful. The most modern GEORG cut-to-length line with highest automation is now fully available for production of aluminium and stainless-steel sheets.
By using state-of-the-art levelling, cutting, and stacking systems, MCB will be able to exceed its usual quality and increase production volumes.

GEORG ultragrind SG 2 for Marcegaglia
Marcagaglia Ravenna S.p.a. has purchased for its cold rolling mill a roll grinder type GEORG ultragrind SG 2 in foundation free GEORG ultrablock version. Since 2017, when the first ultrablock machine was sold, a total of around 10 machines of this design have been sold.
Brand New GEORG Cut-to-Length Line at Ryerson in Kentucky.
What teamwork! A big thank you to our partner Ryerson. And thanks to our team from GEORG and GEORGautomation for their exceptional work. This line, including an AI-based smart leveling system, is a benchmark in terms of quality and automation in North America.
GEORG delivers roll grinder to Volkswagens Gigafactory in Salzgitter
The first Volkswagen Group-owned battery cell factory is being built in Salzgitter. From 2025, standardized cells will roll off the production line there and the cell factory will produce an annual capacity of 40 GWh - enough for around 500,000 electric vehicles.
