Project Development of a burr measuring unit
An exciting project by our dual students has now come to a successful conclusion.
Supported by GEORG's in-house innovation department, they have developed a new burr measuring unit together with fellow students and employees from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Siegen. They have now presented the innovative results - and everyone was delighted.
The support from various chairs and regional companies shows the diversity and creativity in our region.
It's great that we have such great young talent in the MINT sector.
GEORG ultragrind SG 2 for Marcegaglia
Marcagaglia Ravenna S.p.a. has purchased for its cold rolling mill a roll grinder type GEORG ultragrind SG 2 in foundation free GEORG ultrablock version. Since 2017, when the first ultrablock machine was sold, a total of around 10 machines of this design have been sold.
The first GEORG Robotline in the USA
GEORG and WEG Transformers USA are very proud to announce the inauguration of the first US installed GEORG TBA 400 robotline at WEG Transformers USA facility in Washington, MO on April 15th, 2024.
The ribbon cutting ceremony was attended by representatives of both companies including our CEO Mark Georg and WEG Executive Management and Board Members from US, Mexico and Brazil.
We are extremely proud and honored having successfully realized this project together with WEG ahead of the originally considered timeframe.
This is another major milestone in the continuation of the unique relationship between our two companies which is based on trust, partnership and common values.
