New GEORG trainees 2024
We welcome twelf new trainees and dual students this year!
We warmly welcome Alexander David, Jonathan, Mohammadebrahim, Paul, Leon Eiven, Pia, Leonardo, Simon, Henri, Amin, Alexander and David Benjamin to the GEORG team.
Our new trainees are completing their training in electronics for industrial engineering, industrial mechanics, machining mechanics, IT for application development, IT for system integration, industrial clerks and technical product design. Alexander is completing his studies in mechanical engineering.
We are delighted that you are here and wish you a good start to your career.

Elias after 6 months.
Time is running. Elias has now been with us for six months and is developing very well. With his professional experience, this was to be expected. Soon his family from South Africa will be able to join him in Germany. We are very happy about that.
Thank you Branco.
For 37 years, our colleague Branco Matejka provided our customers with help and advice. First in service for many years, then as a Sales Engineer. With the exception of Australia and New Zealand, he has traveled the whole world for us. And finally, he trained his successor, our former dual student Felix Wacker. Now his retirement begins.
We will miss you, Branco. As a full-blooded transformer man. As a GEORGian. As a person. Thank you, Branco.
Our trainees visit one of our customers in Salzgitter
Last year we were able to visit our customer Schütz GmbH & Co. KGaA in the Westerwald with around 50 GEORG trainees and dual students and spend a great day together with the Schütz trainees. This week, our two-day training trip went to our long-standing customer Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH, where we also have many GEORG machines and lines in operation.

Happy 70th birthday to B.Wirtz
How nice is it when we visit our former colleague from the transformer line division at home to wish him a happy 70th birthday and he surprises us with a GEORG cake?
Onboarding Simon Braach
We welcome our new colleague Simon Braach on board. Since the beginning of the month, Simon has been supporting our design and construction team in the Roll Grinding department with all his experience.
We wish Simon a good induction and a good start in the GEORG family.
Children at GEORG
Our focus is not only on our employees, but also on our young visitors! We strive to create a family-friendly environment in which children are very welcome. Whether at special events or in our premises such as our parent-child office - even the little ones feel at home with us.

We are pleased to announce another "newcomer": Stefan Buch will "inherit" our long-standing Head of Purchasing, who will be taking his well-deserved retirement this year. Vera Moser is joining our HR team and will support with new energy
