Highest precision for premium sheets
Since some weeks, the German Service Center company Flachstahl Werl is producing with the new GEORG precisioncut 2000 cut to length line for steel. Prepared for highest demand in tensile strength, yield, accuracy and productivity, the new line is characterised by:
- Highest production speeds in combination with outstanding flatness and cutting results
- Flexibility by using automated adaptive parameters, automated cassette change at the high performance leveler and adaptive stacking nests in the magnetic belt stacker
- GEORG smartleveling for assisted leveling

GEORG ultragrind SG 2 for Marcegaglia
Marcagaglia Ravenna S.p.a. has purchased for its cold rolling mill a roll grinder type GEORG ultragrind SG 2 in foundation free GEORG ultrablock version. Since 2017, when the first ultrablock machine was sold, a total of around 10 machines of this design have been sold.
Brand New GEORG Cut-to-Length Line at Ryerson in Kentucky.

GEORG delivers roll grinder to Volkswagens Gigafactory in Salzgitter
The first Volkswagen Group-owned battery cell factory is being built in Salzgitter. From 2025, standardized cells will roll off the production line there and the cell factory will produce an annual capacity of 40 GWh - enough for around 500,000 electric vehicles.
