Service and Sales Technician (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Service and Sales Technician (m/f/d) for our service department with the following key responsibilities and areas of expertise:

Your tasks

With your technical expertise, customer-focused approach, and knack for finding the right solutions, you ensure that customer requirements are turned into successful service projects—from the initial inquiry through to successful implementation.

• You will prepare and price customized quotes for services, modifications, replacement parts, and components, present them to our customers, and actively follow up on the services offered
• Once an order is received, you will coordinate service projects, support the technical project management team, and keep track of deadlines, costs, quality, and project documentation
• You will support our product divisions in implementing the offerings of our GEORG protectionworld, working closely with the relevant specialist teams and departments
• You will analyze malfunctions, coordinate appropriate measures with customers, service management, and product divisions, and ensure sustainable troubleshooting
• You will organize service calls and on-site installations and ensure the reliable delivery of our contractually agreed-upon services
• Together with internal departments, you will implement our service products and digital solutions—particularly GEORG connectedservice—for customers and partners

Your profile

• Advanced training as a technician, ideally following an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic, machining mechanic, or technical product designer; an additional qualification in electrical engineering is a plus
• Strong technical understanding combined with business acumen and a high level of customer focus
• Strong communication skills, negotiation skills, and the ability to interact confidently and positively with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
• A solution-oriented mindset and the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop practical solutions
• Ability to work in a team, initiative, and a structured, independent work style
• Good English skills and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
• Proficiency in standard MS Office applications; experience with abas is a plus
