Head of Automation (m/f/d)
Location: GERMANY/Kreuztal | Sector: Automation of transformer lines
We are looking for a Head of Automation (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible who is interested in taking on strategic and operational responsibility for the automation of our transformer lines division. This position involves the following key tasks and requirements:
Your tasks
As a manager you will shape technological standards, drive innovation and lead your team with clarity, empathy and commitment.
- Strategic development of automation technology (e.g., PLC, robotics, IIoT, safety)
- Planning, control and responsibility for automation projects in terms of quality, deadlines and costs
- Technical management of the design and implementation of customer-specific automation solutions
- Further development of technical standards and sustainable work processes
- Technical and disciplinary leadership and development of an interdisciplinary team
- Close cooperation with neighboring departments and external partners
- Active participation in change and transformation processes
Your profile
You have extensive experience in automation, enjoy taking on responsibility and know how to successfully bring technology and people together.
- Degree in electrical engineering with a focus on automation technology
- Several years of experience in automation in mechanical engineering ideally with management responsibility
- Experience in managing technical projects
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Analytical, structured and solution-oriented approach to work
- Creative drive, sense of responsibility and team orientation
